Strashevski: For the murder of Vanja and Pance there are key differences in the evidence and statements of the prosecution

Lawyer Jovica Strashevski, defendant Ljupco Palevski, accused of killing Vanja and Pance, said today at the Skopje Basic Criminal Court that there are significant differences between the evidence and the prosecution’s statements.

« The evidence presented by the BPPO and their questions asked by the defendants show great differences in the statements and materials presented, » Strashevski said, stressing that today’s testimony of Palevski is crucial to determine these mismatches.

The lawyer emphasized that the key issue in the case remains unclear – the gun.

– The gun where I don’t know. The Prosecutor’s Office and the Ministry of Interior should answer that. We as a defense are demanding that the bushing bees, which would determine whether the gun was shot at Velibor Manev or another source, Black Market – said Strashevski.

He added that the defense tried to provide evidence of Palevski’s location on 22 and 27, but they were rejected by the court on the grounds that they had already been presented. According to Strashevski, such an approach calls into question the fair course of the process.

– My personal opinion is that the verdict has been adopted in advance. However, we are ready to refute all the evidence presented, not performed, because it is of interest to the public as well – the lawyer added.

In his statement, Palevski again challenged the allegations against him today, arguing that the prosecution’s evidence is incomplete and manipulative.

In addition to the trial, he answers questions from his defense lawyer, lawyer Jovica Strashevski, on the seats.

Palevski is the last witness to testify, after previously, besides the prosecution’s witnesses, the father Aleksandar Gjorcevski, as well as the other defendants, was heard. Defendant Velibor Manev explained the abduction and killings of Vanja and Pance, pointing out that the main organizer was Ljupco Palevski. Bore Videvski denied his participation in the events, while Vlatko Kesishev pointed out that he did not testify to them, because he was often given the task of guarding a guard.

The indictment states that Ljupco Palevski, Bore Videvski, Velibor Manev, Vlatko Kesishov and Aleksandar Gjorcevski, together planned the abduction of 14-year-old Vanja in order to force a member of her immediate family to give money for ransom. The abduction of the damaged Pance Zezhovski in Veles, on the indictment, was intended to force him to give their own « Citroen » vehicle to use the child to abduct the child in Skopje. Juvenile Vanja and Pance resident were reported missing on November 27 and 24, and on December 3, 2023, dead were found near Skopje and Veles.
