Storms in Poland. Where will it be the most dangerous? IMGW third degree alerts
Red weather alerts, i.e. third degree warnings, are extremely rarely issued by the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management. They mean that extreme or very intense weather phenomena await us. Where will the storms in Poland be?
Dangerous storms over Poland. IMGW issued third -degree alerts
On Thursday, April 24 in Silesia and Lesser Poland are forecasted intense storms With rainfall, which may reach 70 mm. In this region, third -degree warnings were issued, i.e. alerts for residents that are to warn against the occurrence of a phenomenon that could cause damage. IMGW informs that local floods may occur in some regions.
Most of the provinces of Lower Silesia, Opolskie, Świętokrzyskie, Lublin and Łódź were covered by the lightest alert – first degree.

Most of southern and southeastern Poland were covered by second-degree allets. This means that storms are forecast in this regions, which will be accompanied by heavy rainfall, locally up to 50 mm. Also possible wind gusts and hail.
