Stormloop for sale at branches of Casa in Mechelen, Bruges and Ostend (Mechelen)
The sale at Casa ensures a rarely seen rush at the Ostend location, Bruges and those in Mechelen enormous queues. Already at 7 o’clock Monday morning the first customer was waiting. In the meantime there are hundreds.
After the bankruptcy of the retail chain, the trustees decided to keep a sale. It attracts a lot of interest in Mechelen. The row extends over the entire length of the shopping street, up to the Schepenhuis.

The many people waiting all hope to score a bargain, because there are immediately discounts of 50 percent. Sarina Bauwens from Sint-Niklaas was the first. Casa is selling in ten different locations
The curators of the bankrupt retail chain Casa start the sale on Monday. It takes place in what used to be the ten best -selling buildings. There will be a sale on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 April Mechelen,, » Oostende and Bruges – each time from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday, April 16 and Thursday, April 17, it is the turn Winch,, » Knokke and Sint-Niklaas (Waasland shopping). The interior store chain requested the bankruptcy in our country at the beginning of March. The same happened in the Netherlands at the beginning of April. The sixty shops in our country, the distribution center and the head office in Olen are now closed. In France, Casa applied for a judicial reorganization.
Casa is originally a Belgian chain that ended up with the Dutch entrepreneurial family Blokker in 1988. In April 2021, it sold the chain to the Amsterdam Investment Group Globitas. The investor had 51 percent of the shares – the rest was in the hands of Dutch entrepreneur Frank Pruijn. (blg)
