Stojanovski: Agreement with the United Kingdom to be Public, Next Week enters parliamentary procedure
The agreement signed with the United Kingdom will be in parliamentary procedure next week and will be public for all, MP Bojan Stojanovski from VMRO-DPMNE said tonight.
Stojanovski told Sitel television that everything would be public and transparent.
– This agreement will not be like these agreements so far in four eyes, but everything will be public and transparent, every millimeter and every letter of that agreement and those that follow in the future will be publicly presented to the public and will be submitted to the Government and Parliament, because we believe that the public deserves it. We have nothing to hide in the contracts – said Stojanoski.
The agreement was signed yesterday in London by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski and British Minister of Economy and Export Gareth Thomas. The funds provided by this agreement will be used for infrastructure projects in railway, health and education.
Prior to the signing of the agreement, the Macedonian government adopted the text of the agreement after Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and his British counterpart Cyrus Starmer at the European Political Chief Summit in Tirana reached consent to a strategic partnership.
The opposition came up with a note of non -transparency on the Strategic Partnership Agreement with the United Kingdom.
