Started series collective for second season filming / day

Serial Collective There are short films of various directors and creative teams with stories about the invisible part of the Song and Dance Celebration movement and personal experiences. In the new season Collective Combines five different authors’ short films on the backstage of the School Youth Song and Dance Celebration. The series is made up of a studio von film, Its producers are Lelde Troska and Maris Lagzdiņš, executive producer is Katrīna Krēsliņa.

Series Collective Producer Lelde Troska: “As generations change, the Song and Dance Celebration is also changing. Collective Life and really talk about this phenomenon outside the festivities itself, both with its members and society as a whole. There is one common feature for celebrations and cinema – when people come together, they are able to create and experience more than themselves, which we think is the reason why both this series and the celebration take place. ”

Like last season, the series will be made by experienced directors and the opportunity for new filmmakers. Collective The second season is made up of five different creative teams: There are three attempts left to be ashamed – Director Juris Kursietis, screenwriter Marta Elīna Martinsone (author of the idea – Gina Karklina); Palace of Culture – directors and screenwriters Ance Strazda and Rudolfs Gediņš (Quadriphrone); Mixed – Director Arthur Zeps and screenwriter Julijen Nuhums Kulibali; Strings – Director Jānis Ābele and screenwriter Linda Rude; Mistake – Director Robert Kulenko and screenwriter Gina Karklina.

Series made of comedies, fantasy, romance and mockumumentary in the genre.

Filming of the series started with director John Abel’s short films Strings the reception. It tells the story of the fragile affirmations of the first love when a new member joins the collective. The lead roles are played by actor Madara Viļčuka, Kurt Karlis, Yekaterina Frolova, Armands Berģis and Elza Ruta Jordane. The script is written by Linda Rude, the operator – Tom Skele and the artist – Kristaps Kalser. The series was admitted at the Riga State German Gymnasium, with the participation of Jurmala Music High School Koklers Ensemble and the Ulbroka Music and Art School Koklers Ensemble Tin.
