Start works for the construction of a new section of A8
The works for the construction of a new section of A8, on the Târgu Mureș – Miercurea Nirajului section, can start on Thursday, the Turkish manufacturer is already mobilized for the execution phase, announced the general director of the National Road Administration Company, Cristian Pistol.
‘From May 15, the works for the construction of a new section of A8 can begin! The Turkish builder (Nurol) is already mobilized for the execution phase of the works on the Târgu Mureș – Miercurea Nirajului section, with over 300 workers and more than 180 machines’, wrote a gun on his page of Facebook.
He mentioned that on the route of this highway batch, with a length of 24.4 km, there will be built: a connecting road with A3 (on highway), 2.4 km long, a road knot that will ensure the connection with A3 (Transilvania Highway) and to Târgu Mureș municipality; a road knot that allows access to DN13; a road knot that will ensure access to DJ151D; 30 bridges and passages; two ecoducts; a maintenance and control center (CIC); two parking lots.
The contract (financed by the National Plan for Resilization and Resility) has a value of 2.46 billion lei (excluding VAT), and the works must be completed next year.
