Joko Winterscheidt has long been a fixture on German TV. Since January 2021 he regularly moderates his own quiz show « Who is stealing the show? » on ProSieben. What is it about? Three celebrities and a selected viewer who participates as an unpredictable wildcard compete in eight different quiz categories against Winterscheidt to steal the show – in the truest sense of the word. The categories are divided into three profit levels. A candidate leaves after each stage. In the final, Joko or the reigning show thief and moderator compete in a direct duel against the last remaining person. The winner of the final wins the show. Joachim « Joko » Winterscheidt was born on January 13, 1979 in Mönchengladbach and started an internship in Hamburg at the TV production company after graduating from high school Me, MySelf & Eye Entertainment. There he rose to the permanent editor and worked for the broadcasters, among other things VOX, RTL, Arte, ProSieben and MTV Germany. From 2010 he began to moderate various TV formats alongside Klaas Heufer-Umlauf. Since 2012 the duo has been regularly available for the show Joko & Klaas – the duel around the world In front of the camera, 2019 celebrated their common format Joko & Klaas against ProSieben Premiere. Winterscheidt, who also works as an actor, investor and entrepreneur, has a daughter and lives with his family in Munich.
