The documentary program « Song Trip » is in ZDF broadcast. From July 4, a new episode will be released in the late evening program every week. Episode 2: Friday, July 11, 2025, 11.30 p.m., « Lea X Trinidad and Tobago »

In a row, singer Lea travels to Trinidad and Tobago for a new version of her song « Leiser ». She says herself about the trip to the Caribbean island state: « I cannot compare the trip with anything that I have experienced in my life beforehand. I’ve never felt anything like this. »

Episode 3: Friday, July 18, 2025, 11:45 p.m., « July X Morocco »

In Morocco, the band July would like to reinterpret their hit “this life” together with local musicians. Perform this creation live at sunset in the desert. The band’s singer, Eva Brigel, says on the trip: « For us as a band, this experience was to go to Morocco, something very special and we found ourselves completely new as a band. »

Episode 4: Friday, July 25, 2025, 11.30 p.m., « 01099 x Albania »

The Dresden collective 01099 travels from « Song Trip » to Albania in episode 4, where they create a new version of their song « 2000 ». In Albania you will meet popstar Semi Jaupaj, which supports you in your musical project. Paul von 01099 says about the trip: « The nice thing is: all the fears we had in advance, they dissolved in pleasure, in the end it was very simple and light. »

Episode 5: Friday, August 1, 2025, 11.30 p.m., « Alice Merton X Island »

In the last episode, Alice Merton competes for a reinterpretation of her world hit « No Roots ». She gets support from the Icelandic singer and ESC participant Daði Freyr. The singer says: « We want to recover these impressive pictures. We want to make a soundtrack for Iceland. »
