« Die traitor » Season 3: Transfer on TV and stream

Incidentally, the show was awarded the German TV Award for « Best Entertainment Reality ». It is produced by the All3Media subsidiary Tower Productions. Simultaneously to the broadcast start at RTL are on RTL+ The first two episodes available, after which there is the new episode one week before the TV broadcast. The previous season, a « Halloween-Special »ran exclusively at the streaming service RTL+.

RTL+ This works like this: The “Basic” version (no live, advertising interruptions) costs 5.99 euros a month. In « The traitors – don’t trust anyone! » 16 celebrities compete against each other, but not all games with open cards. At the beginning, Castle owner Sonja Zietlow, in secret, appoints some of them. These move undetected in the group, while only they – and the viewers – know their true identity.

The game revolves around deception, manipulation and strategy: Every night the traitors secretly choose a victim that is leaving the game. But they too are in danger, because every day the round advises who should be unmasked and selected.

Between strategy and deception, the celebrities are still dependent on cooperation. In various missions, they collect silver bars worth up to 50,000 euros. But in the end there is the big question: Who gets the whole coal? Does loyalty or tries out?

• dagger: You can win it in the weapons chamber. When voting at the round table, one player has two votes instead of just one.
• Blackmail: If there is only a traitor left, he has to blackmail a loyal that is forced to become traitors, otherwise he will leave out.
• Breakfast room: Here, the players learn who was murdered by the traitors during the night.
• conclave: Place where the traitors advise themselves to murder at night, except for extortion, seduction or list of death.
• Loyal: You win by banishing all traitors. The silver remaining remaining evenly at the end of the game.
• Missions: Teams work together to win silver bars worth 50,000 euros through sporting and mental challenges.
• Round table: Meeting place where a player is banished by majority decision. Exception: Episode 1, in which traitors are determined by Sonja Zietlow.
• Shield: A defense weapon from the weapons chamber that protects against murder, but not from exile.
• Silver treasure: Silver bars that are obtained in missions. Both loyal and traitors strive for as much silver as possible.
• Death list: Traiters put players on a list instead of murdering. Those affected can earn pardon through missions.
• exile: A player is banished at the round table by majority decision. Everyone has to justify their choice.
• seduction: If there are two traitors, you can seduce a loyal instead of murder. This can reject the offer and then remains loyal.
• traitor: Your goal is to avoid exile and convince loyals to banish their peers. Remaining silver is divided among survivors.
• Armor: A room in the castle that is accessible through mission success. The protective shield and dagger can be obtained here.
