Starmer's lasting hug to … see Trump
Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski arrived in London for a meeting with British Prime Minister Kir Starmer, who warmly welcomed him outside his home in Downing Street.

Kir Starmer seems to have been « deliberately » out on the road to greet the Ukrainian president, even telling him that he has « full support of the United Kingdom » and that « he is on the side of Ukraine for as long as he needs », according to Sky News.

After the warm greeting, the two leaders went inside the prime ministerial residence, with Starmer telling Zelenski: « Let me say that you are very, very welcome here in Downing Street.
And as you have heard from the cheers on the road outside, you have the full support of the United Kingdom and we are with you, with Ukraine, for as long as it takes. I hope you heard some of these cheers on the street.
This is the people of the United Kingdom who go out to show how much they support you, how much they support Ukraine, and our absolute determination to stand with you – unshakable determination – and to achieve what we both want to achieve, that is, a constant peace. «
