UK Prime Minister Cyrus Starmer said after the end of the two -hour London Summit in support of Ukraine that every new Kiev support agreement must be based on force and that all countries must take responsibility and contribute to their opportunities.

« Our starting point must be putting Ukraine in the strongest possible position so far, » the British prime minister said.

He noted that four key steps have been agreed at the summit: to continue military aid to Ukraine during the war and further intensify economic pressure on Russia; Every lasting peace must guarantee Ukraine's sovereignty and security, and Kiev must participate in all peace talks;
In the case of a peace deal, European leaders will work to deter Russia from any future invasions of Ukraine; To create a coalition that will be ready to defend Ukraine and guarantee peace.
Starmer reiterated that European unity is crucial at this time and that only with joint effort can secure a safe future for Ukraine and the entire continent.

– Today we are on a historic milestone. This is not the time for new endless debates, it's time to act and gather around a new plan for righteous and lasting peace – said Starmer.

But he also pointed out that the Ukrainian agreement must have US support.

– To be clear, I agree with Trump about the urgent need for lasting peace. Now we have to accomplish that together – said Starmer.

According to him, « Russia must be part of the agreement, but it will not be able to dictate sets. Otherwise we will have no progress. «

He warned that everyone reached an agreement must be defended.
