Spring martyrs and songs – angle – see the world as it is!

March came with emotions, music and special moments for the inhabitants of Ungheni and Mânzătești. On March 6, the Folkloric-Model band « Codreanca » offered musical martyrs to the beneficiaries of the Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration of the Elders in Ungheni, bringing them a splash of joy and relief. Two days later, on March 8, the scene of the Culture Center in Mânzătești was witness an exceptional show, dedicated to the International Women's Day, where the artists from « Codreanca » and special guests, the « Prutencile » Folklore Ensemble, delighted the public with soul songs. Two events, one emotion: the joy of giving through music.

Codreanca, Music Mărts and unforgettable emotions for the beneficiaries of Ungheni
On March 6, 2025, the members of the Folklore-Model band « Codreanca » brought a splash of joy to the beneficiaries of the Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration of the elderly. The traditional event, carried out under the sign of spring, was sprinkled with musical martyrs, offered with love by the ensemble.

Music that drives away loneliness
The years pass, but tradition remains. Year after year, Codreanca returns with those who need a ray of light and hope. « The days pass by one, the years pass,/ year after year, Codreanca comes, comes for them … », states in a message published on a social network the artistic leader of the Vasile Munteanu band, recognizing the importance of this solidarity gesture.
The artistic moment was marked by strong emotions, and the sisters Ana and Patricia Caracaș, the young talents of the ensemble, were the most applauded artists of the day. « The band has a future. These two sisters prove us through their talent, by the effort they make ”, specifies Vasile Munteanu.

A scene, a village and a story atmosphere
If there are days that can be fulfilled, March 8, 2025 has been, without a doubt, one of them. On the stage of the Culture Center in the village of Mânzătești, a receptive and enthusiastic audience was the witness of a truly special show.
In addition to the performance of the band « Codreanca », special evening invitations, the « Prutencile » Folklore Ensemble, led by Sofia Loza, delighted the audience with an authentic repertoire.

Who deserves applause?
It is difficult to say to whom the beauty of this event is due: the « Codreanca » band, the « Prutencile » Ensemble, the mayor Elena Medvițchi or, perhaps, the Renaissance that Spring brings to souls. « Anyway, I think, we spent beautiful moments together, as it is worthwhile the most happy being on Earth – Mary, the woman, » said Vasile Munteanu.
With respect and admiration, the mayor of Hârcești commune, Elena Medvițchi, sent a message of thanks to all those who contributed to the organization of this show dedicated to women: « We thank the Folkloric-Model band » Codreanca « , led by Mr. Vasile Munteanu, accompanied by Vasile Scripnic, and the folklore ensemble « Prutencile » in the village of Măcărești, who delighted us with their beautiful songs on the International Women's Day « .
