Will he last with me? It will certainly soon find out that I will not match her and leave for some others, he is afraid of Paul.

Ashley is a couple with Carey, and his best friend Paul took Julia as his wife. Ashley came to a man with an idea to divorce – with the fact that until she finds someone else, they can live together. And Paul, he suggested Julie, that everyone else would meet someone else – with the fact that they would do it inconspicuously, so they wouldn’t hurt each other.

However, it can be said that this is a film that looks unrestrained to completely crazy, while talking to the full seriousness of the things that we are dealing with basically everyone and all our lives. And that’s love in a romantic relationship.

It has long appeared that the Cannes festival is afraid of comedies, and when she chooses one for the program, she will include it in a section where it does not compete for the Golden Palm. In this case, it was the right decision, Splitsville is not such a great work that would breathe.

But American director Michael Covino showed that even the comedy can be approached with artistic ambitions.
