Split in the master threw out Alkar and won the semifinals with Dinamo
Basketball players Split They won the placement in the semi-finals of the Croatian Championship playoffs after being defeated by Alkar 96-81 in the « master » of the quarterfinal series on Grip. Split celebrated 97-71 in the first match, Alkar equalized with a victory of 83-72, to make the master « yellow » that now awaits the semi-finals against Dinamo.
Alkar went to meet on the wings of his many fans. The guests led 10-4, had 22-17, but Split reduced by the end of the first quarter to two points behind (28-30). In the second quarter, the Split band played far better. They turned the result, and by the end of the half they also led 12 differences (56-44).
The third section brought a new joy for the hosts. The team of Veljko Mrsic got the third part of the game with 19-13, so she had a big 20 differences at the entrance to the last quarter (77-57). Alkar reduced in the last quarter to 13 points behind, but more than that did not go. In the end, 96-81 ended.
The hosts were led by Antonio Jordano with 25 points and five rebounds, Jerod Shannon Shorter added 17 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists, while Kresimir Ljubicic inserted 15 points.
On the opposite side were the most efficient Noah Svoboda with 14 points, and Pavle Marcinkovic, Mario Krešić and Jeremy Donnel Shaw with 13 points each. Split will play in the semifinals against Dinamo, which in two games was better than Cedevita Junior.
In the second semi -finals, the current champion of Zadar and Cibona will weigh. Zadar was better than Zabok with a « two-handful », while Cibona celebrated against Kvarner 2010 with a total of 2-1 in victories.
