South Korea has introduced a state of emergency after a series of large -scale forest fires in the southern regions of the country. At least four people were killed in a natural disaster, and hundreds of residents were forced to leave their homes.

Literally: « The firefighters tried to extinguish the fires that began on Friday March 21 in the South Sanchhon district, as well as in at least three other regions in the south of South Korea. Korea forest service reported that a fire in Sanchkhon, which had taken the lives of four and injured six people. »

Details: It is reported that in order to combat the fire, the authorities mobilized hundreds of rescuers and dozens of special vehicles. The fire has already destroyed about 847 hectares of forest, and about 260 people had to evacuate from Sanchhon.
Another 620 residents of Ulsan and the neighboring province of Konsansan were forced to leave their homes because of new ignition, which began on Saturday, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Security of the country reported.
Due to large -scale fires, the South Korea government has declared a state of emergency in the southern regions for accelerated resource mobilization and identified Sanchhon as a particularly affected area.
