Sorokin will be selected from 43 candidates / day for the Latvian U-18 Hockey Team for the World Championship
Sorokin has included six goalkeepers, 12 guards and 25 attackers.
Before the spring championship, six test games are scheduled for the Latvian U -18 team – two with Slovakian peers, two with Polish peers, and one with young Swedish and Czech hockey players.
Sorokin is assisted by Herbert Vasilyev, Maxim Shirokov and goalkeeper coach Edgars Lūsiņš in working with the Latvian U-18 hockey team.
This season, too, the Latvian U-18 team will compete in the World Championship elite group, with the tournament in April and May. The Latvian national team will play in the same sub -group with Canada, Finland, Norway and Slovakia.
