Sorana qualified in the final

The Romanian-Russian pair Sorana Cîrstea/Ana Kalinskaia qualified, on Friday, in the final of the double test of the WTA 1,000 tennis tournament, with a total prizes of 7,854,000 euros, after passing the couple Su-Wei Hsieh (Taiwan)/Jelena Ostapenko (Latvia) with 7-6 (7/2) (7/2), 7/2, 6-4.

Cîrstea and Kalinskaia won the victory after an hour and 32 minutes against the number three favorites.

Cârstea and his partner were led by 2-0 in the first set, but they succeeded four consecutive jams (4-2). Nhysieh and Ostapenko equalized (4-4), but Cîrstea and Kalinskaia had a set of set at 6-5, missed. Finally, the Romanian-Russian pair prevailed 7-2 in the tiebreak.
