Sonner handled Djokovic! Italian went to the Roland Garros finals
Italian Jannik Sinner. The best tennis player in the world will play on Sunday’s Roland Garros final against the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraze After a semi -final victory against Novak Djokovic from 6-4, 7-5, 7-6 (3).

Two hours lasted the fight in the first two sets, and in the third section nothing particularly changed. Sonner was still better acted by the shade, but Djokovic came first to Break and she remained unused at 2-1. The son then missed two at 2-2, and at 5-4, Djokovic had as many as three set-balls on the rival service.

Sonner will seek a way to the fourth Grand Slam Career Slam against Alcaraz. The best was in 2024 at the Australian Open and the US Open and this year in Melbourne.
In their careers, Sinner and Alcarazza played 11 times and the Spaniard runs 7-4. This year they played once, recently in the Rome final when Alcarazza celebrated 7-6 (5), 6-1.
For the first time in his career, Sonner won the Roland Garros finals, and in Sunday’s finals Alcarazzi will hunt the fifth Grand Slam Career Slam trophy. So far, he has been the best in Wimbledon twice and one at Roland Garros and at the US Open.
