This is the 21st edition FIFA World Club Championshipand first in an extended format with 32 teams.

The first competition with eight clubs was held in 2000. in Brazil. Second should be held in Spain 2001, but it did not happen. The competition was updated in 2005. as a successor to the intercontinental cup.

Manchester City is a title counsel, after winning his first title at the last tournament 2023. years.

The extended tournament format was announced in 2019. and it was originally planned to host China 2021, but there has been delayed due to CIVID-19 pandemic.

The World Team Championship is a competition that gathers the best football clubs from all six Fifa Zone: UEFA, ConcacaF, COMMABOL, AFK, Coffee and OFC.

Teams qualified in two ways in relation to the main continental competitions (UEFC League Champions, CAF League Champions, Concaccribe League of Champions and Consumption in the same competitions and collecting points, ie Miami received a place in the name Households, and one team from Oceania is ranked in the name of the list.

The recorder in number of trophies in this competition is Real Madrid with five titles winned.
