The soil surface was even up to 7-11 degrees Celsius. In a large part of the country, there is a shortage of moisture in the soil, so it is even more cold and peaty in the cold and the warmth of the coming days. There will be a lot of frost to 1-6 on the surface, and in some degrees and more frost. « Today is a new May 8th Cold Record, severe frost and snow grits in the sky. The weather is more reminiscent of the first half of April rather than May 7-10 degrees Celsius at an altitude of about 1.5 km. Only a week later.
Later, the meteorologist added: « Only wet snowflakes fell, snowballs (grumpy). Some people are mixed with a fine hail. Snow grits often occur in the second half of autumn or in spring, when the cold air mass is renewed to the region, but the above -ground layer is at least a few degrees (which occurs in the low atmospheric vortex). The snowflakes falling in the cloud are frozen with small droplets of water and forms a few millimeter diameter balls. They are white and squeeze between the fingers, unlike a fine hail that is hard and transparent. ”
