The press: The killing spree has left traumatized pupils, teachers, parents and relatives. What role does the crisis intervention team take on in such a situation?
« /> Crisis assistant Edwin Benko: « Some wanted to talk, others were silent. » Helmut Lunghammer
Edwin Benko: At the request of the educational directorate, we support the school psychologists with our team. The essentials in such a situation is that the people, the students, but also the adults affected, experience the feeling of not being alone. After something incredible has happened, it is good to know that someone is there for me. Someone who takes time and listens who perceives individual needs and offers conversations because he is more stable in this situation than yourself.
