Solidaris Health Insurance Fund wants to manage 137 employees with early retirement in Wallonia: « Matter of Healthy Management »

Solidaris Wallonia Health Insurance Fund wants to let 137 people from the 2,000 employees go on a voluntary basis with early retirement. The health insurance fund is aiming for the so -called system of unemployment with business surcharge on employees younger than sixty, reports on Thursday.

In order to be eligible for the application of the system of unemployment with business supplement (SWT), Solidaris Wallonia does need recognition as a company in difficulties.

The health insurance fund emphasizes that there is no restructuring or dismissal round. « That recognition, if we get them, will not have any consequences for the affiliated members or the employees, » it sounds. Solidaris Wallonia is talking about a « matter of healthy management ».

« In an environment in which the assignments for a health insurance fund only increase – reintegration of the long -term sick, increasingly complex social guidance, an increase in the number of people with an increased allowance – the resources granted by the authorities do not follow sufficiently. »

“Chronically under -financed”

The Walloon Socialist Health Insurance Fund regrets that health insurance funds have been chronically funded for more than ten years.

The federal government followed the social partners last month in their proposal on the abolition of the SWT, the former early retirement pension. As a result, the system will continue to exist until 30 June. The federal government’s coalition agreement provided for the immediate abolition of the system, but that clashed with current collective agreements.
