Solar and Wind Energy for Municipal Enterprises – still unexpressed potential
Sustainable solutions for the public sector
According to the head of client and funding solutions, Board Member of the Board Giedrė Gečiauskienė, investment in RES projects not only contributes to green goals, but also helps solve specific economic challenges facing public sector companies.

This is a great opportunity for both ecological and economic terms, » said G. Gečiauskienė.
The benefits of these projects are also well understood by representatives of municipal enterprises, who are looking for ways to reduce fossil fuel dependence and stabilize service prices for the local population.

An investment that pays off

The company will seek to implement the solar power plant project by using ILTE LEG loans to legal entities. The director of the company Kęstutis Vilkauskas says that the investment in renewable energy sources is the long -term goal of the company.
« Water management companies have to ensure the stability of the service supply and maintain low prices. The largest share of our expenditure is the cost of electricity, which makes solar power plants a very attractive solution, » said K. Vilkauskas.

Companies do not always take advantage of opportunities
