Where are everyone?
You may have heard of Fermi’s paradox, but in short: if there are only billions of stars (more precisely, hundreds of billions in our galaxy) and they have their stellar systems around them and if we hope that nature laws and life are unlikely in the universe?
Special.
There are many answers and many carry a piece of scientific fantasy: from our space uniqueness to a large filter to the statement that they grow us here in a space zoo. But practically all drive our curiosity. We just want to find out what it is and whether we are really so lonely.
That is why we are so fascinated by the search for extraterrestrial life, so it is full of literature, films or video games, and therefore we hope it is not a question, but when and in what form we find it.
A few times was enough.
In the summer of 1977, radioastronomers encountered a special signal that we call Wow today!. He was very likely to have a natural explanation, but for some time its artificial origin was discussed.
Meteorite Allan Hills 84001 has made Bill Clinton’s presidential language, as it was assumed that it could contain microphosilia of Mars bacteria. Relatively recently we talked about phosphane on Venus or the so -called Tabby’s star that flashes strange.
We could write a whole chapter about the intermediate star building Oumumua, where we also speculated about the space vessel.
