Sniffing support: police searched the station district
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the police moved through the station district in Luxembourg-Stadt, supported by a drug detection dog. The goal: pull drugs and illegal weapons out of circulation.
A total of 25 emergency services and a drug detection dog were involved. 36 people were checked, at 13 of them the dog struck.

The control led to five protocols – three because of drug possession and two for illegal gun ownership. Two of the controlled people were already noted in the databases, while seven were listed as potential foreign suspects. In addition, six people had to undergo identification treatment.
