Slovenia has nothing to defend against missiles
Despite the fear of the possible penetration of the Russian army into Europe, the general’s general Robert Glavaš Miri, that there will be no Russians or any other soldiers at Slovenian borders. This does not mean that we are safe from hybrid threats and some delusional rocket or drone. The accelerated furnishing of the army enhances Slovenian defense power, but without people decided to defend their homeland, language, culture and identity, is a weapon in vain.
The resolution on the general long -term program of development and equipping the Slovenian Armed Forces by 2040 has outlined the direction and speed at which Slovenia will hunt for a developmental backlog from years when most political parties were taken for granted in investment in defense. While in the opposition, they see the resolution as a shopping list, the coalition left, which bets on its peace stance, threatens a referendum for its abundant increase in defense expenditures.
