Skopje host of Davis Cup – Nova Makedonija

Macedonia, Latvia, Moldova, Malta, Armenia and Montenegro will perform at the Third European Zone Tournament this week. The best three selections next year will play in the second World Cup World Group
The Tennis Federation of Macedonia (TCM) will host the Davis Cup, the third European zone from tomorrow to Saturday. This important tournament with a representative reputation will be held on the fields of TC South in Skopje (the beginning of the first matches is at 10.30am).
In addition to the Macedonian national team, Latvia, Moldova, Malta, Armenia and Montenegro will also play in the Macedonian national team. The colors of Macedonia will be defended by Kalin Ivanovski, Berk Bulgaric, Amar Husseinovic and Christian Janev, writes the Tennis Federation of Macedonia on its website.
– We are happy and pleased that after four years we are hosting this competition again. We work out well. I expect to show the best tennis and pass this group, however, we are for a higher rank in this competition. In the days when the matches we will do our best, and at the same time I call on all who are able to support us during our matches – says Macedonian tennis player Kalin Ivanovski, reports the Tennis Federation of Macedonia.
The best three selections from the Skopje tournament will play in the second World Group next year, and the last two will play in the fourth zone of the Davis Cup. G.
