Skin the oldest sun, we are also very old stress
Today’s beauty standards seem to be divided into two poles: one advocates a youthful appearance, often even for the price of radical interventions in the body that makes the image minimally, quite or even changing too much, the other sees beauty in aging and swearing straight. But there are, at least in most, in common: we would like to live a long time and be as old as possible. However, this is not. Aging is just a natural process, but we do not quite understand it. It was the topic of the penultimate episode of podcast In the outpatient clinic with dr. Eaglein which a dermatologist was hosted Igor Bartenjev.

IGOR BARTENS
Prof. dr. Igor Bartenjev is a specialist in dermatovenerology. As Rok Orel said in the podcast, Barten’s would call himself a man who actually lives dermatology, and for about thirty -five years. He emphasized his remarkable experience with him: “We have known each other for several decades. Not only is she a top dermatologist, but she actually mastered the whole medical profession. I have repeatedly witnessed when a patient with skin problems came to him, and he suspected of systemic diseases based on these. Then the patient went for additional examinations to other specialists and was discovered by some more dangerous problems than the basic ones, which made him reach the office of Dr. Barten’s. Igor Bartenjev has been a private doctor for over twenty years, but he has remained employed at the Faculty of Medicine, is a faculty teacher, acts as an educator, also as a researcher. It deals with severe skin diseases, but it is also a pronounced aesthetic. There is much more about aesthetically corrective dermatology, including the so -called antiaging. «
We all want to live long and stay youthful. We will talk about how to approach this goal. Why are we getting old?
We are looking for this answer or searching for many experts from different fields and cannot be easily and quickly given. However, it is true that people wonder how to be vital as long as possible. As a dermatologist, I deal with skin aging, which is part of the aging of the human body. It would be hard skin preserved youngAnd everything else would aged. At the same time, all our efforts to maintain a healthy, beautiful, youthful skin also coincide with their efforts to maintain vitality and youth.
Genetics, if good, must be used, but if it is bad, we need to try harder. The older I am, the more I see how decisive it is. It cannot be influenced by it, but it can be anything else.
Aging is a normal process, why we age, but no one knows. There are different theories. One of the oldest is the not so wrong theory of injury to the expert who wrote Mann. It was erected in 1891 or 1892. According to him, the cells during their lives occur that injuries that are added up. Cells are getting worse and thus aging, and with them the organs of which they are.
In the second half of the last century, the theory that I myself have most advocated. It is a theory of free radicals. This means that some metabolic products are formed that bring restlessness into the cell molecules. Free radicals are unstable, looking for where they would be tied. This affects their deoxyribonucleic acid and causes irreversible damage. On the other hand, we have antioxidants in the body. It is now that we work mostly to maintain youth or prevent aging. This theory has some disadvantages.
However, others, such as the theory of immunity or hormonal influences, are important. The immune system has fallen over the years, so the body is less able to respond to environmental damage. Over the years, this has only escalated. Currently, the most up -to -date is about ten years old theory of telomeras. These are part of the double DNA screwdriver and are increasingly shortened as the cells are divided. At some point, they can no longer share well.
We certainly cannot escape aging. However, the fact is that this is a set of internal and external factors. Much depends on the genes. However, external factors can be influenced, but not genes.

But what are the possible approaches to keep healthy, youthful skin as long as possible?
There are about four or five approaches. The first is newer, this is nutrition; substances that are introduced into the body. Next is a pharmaceutical that means taking certain medicines and using certain preparations locally or, for example, by injection.
Then there are minimum invasive interventions on or in the skin. These are more about preventing change or, and I have repeatedly dealt with, erasing or anulating the damage caused, that is, destroying the damaged, changed cells in the hope that they will be replaced by new ones or that it will primarily cause collagen formation.
But they are even more invasive.
For example?
Dermatologists do not deal with these. The main ones are performed by plastic surgeons. Although I do some blepharoplasty here and there (eyelid correction) and other minor surgery, so I deal with dermatological surgery. Operational methods actually bring an immediate and very visible effect. Man looks younger.
I inject the botox myself easily, and I repeatedly refuse the fillers if I do not agree with the wishes. Especially in aesthetically corrective matters, the therapist and the patient must speak the same language.
The second, even as an aggressive method, is, for example, various deep acid exfoliations. We are already in the border area between plastic surgeons and dermatologists. It is a case of certain acids that deepen the skin deeply, but not by the resulting scars. People go to this, but they are mostly dominated by medium exfoliations, which take away many signs of aging.
The next method, which is quite old and considered the gold standard, is the so -called abrasive lasers. They act on water in the body and with them the therapist peels the skin layer for the layer to bleeding, that is, to the border between the top and the skin. This is still safe enough for healing without scars. The scars are also removed with this process, but this has no relation to rejuvenation.
These aggressive methods require a four- to six-week recovery. That one can go back to the sun and between people again for a month, and the effects of the surface, tension, skin elasticity, are good.

Now to minimally invasive.
The term minimally aggressive is commercial. These approaches are injuries: we contribute material for construction and do damage, thus triggering mechanisms that cause fibroblasts to mobilize, ie cells from which collagen is formed. This is achieved by the injection of exosomes into the mesoderm between the top and the skin.
I can also mention the ultrasound method of Hifu, which reaches four to five millimeters deep, due to the heat of the collagen, it is very cured and damaged to then form a new one.
The classic, however, is botox, botulin toxin, that is, poison, and various fillers, now especially hyaluronic.
I inject the botox myself easily, and I repeatedly refuse the fillers if I do not agree with the wishes. Especially in aesthetically corrective matters, the therapist and the patient must speak the same language. The satisfaction must be on both sides.
One must love life and love to listen. So he will know exactly when you are doing harm, but when not.
What can people do preventative to make their skin slower? What factors are harming her and what benefits her by expressing myself at home?
As with everything in life, we have to do this. Without it, it is difficult to expect any results. On the other hand, it is true that many things are already placed in the cradle. Genetics, if good, must be used, but if it is bad, we need to try harder. The older I am, the more I see how decisive it is. It cannot be influenced by it, but it can be anything else.

Here we come across a paradox. For example, they say that sports activity helps a lot, and smoking and alcohol cause faster aging. But in red wine is a resveratrol, which is a powerful antioxidant. Where is the border?
One must love life and love to listen. So he will know exactly when you are doing harm, but when not. And when we are already: alpha and omega everything is that the skin is definitely the oldest sun.
Otherwise, we need to have a relaxed attitude towards life, because stress is also very old. Let’s work on being as well as stored with ourselves and that we will be in psychophysical balance.
