Skialpinists' drama in the heavy valley. One is dead
During the traverse of the empty bench, the men caused a plate avalanche, which kidnapped one of them deep into the valley. The skimpinist was covered with heaps of snow. His companion, despite his initial fall, managed to stop and set off his colleague to the rescue.

Mountain rescuers from Slovakia say that the second ski -skimmer, after finding and extracting his companion, had to face the brutal reality – his colleague did not survive the clash with an avalanche. The survivor of the skier called for help from Horska Zacharan Service. A helicopter from Poprad was immediately directed to the scene.
However, the situation on the spot was extremely difficult. Due to the real threat of subsequent avalanches, the decision of the rescuers, it was evacuated by air. From the frozen pond in the heavy valley, he was transported to the old Smokowiec. The body of the deceased skimpinist was handed over to officers of the Slovak police.
