The State Examination Center published the first analyzes National Knowledge Testing this year’s school year. In the 6th grade, students reached an average of 48.3 percent of the points in the Slovene test, and 52.4 percent in mathematics. In the 9th grade, they scored 62.6 percent in Slovene and 52.9 percent of the points in mathematics.
This year, knowledge testing was also mandatory for all grade 3 students. This was held at 460 elementary schools. The assessment of knowledge from Slovene was performed by 19,904 students, who averaged 10.9 of 22 points (49.7 percent). In Italian, 69 students took the test.
In Hungarian, 25 students attended the NPZ. The average achievement in Italian is 14.4 out of 23 points (62.8 percent) and 17.2 of 25 points (71.4 percent) in Hungarian. In mathematics, the test was performed by 19,930 third -graders, who averaged 22.4 points out of 40 points (55.9).
In grade 6, national knowledge test (NPZ) was held at 494 elementary schools. The knowledge of knowledge from Slovene was performed by 20,349 students, who averaged 21.7 out of 45 points (48.3 percent). In Italian, the test was carried out by 64 students. In Hungarian, 20 students attended the NPZ. The average achievement in Italian is 18.8 out of 40 points (47.2 percent), and in Hungarian, 30 out of 40 points (75 percent).
In a foreign language, 20,250 students (English 19,783, German 467) were performed in a foreign language. The average achievement of students who performed English is 30.4 out of 50 possible points (60.9 percent), and in German, students reached an average of 26.01 points out of 52 points (50.02 percent).
In mathematics, the test was performed by 22,223 students, who averaged 26.2 out of 50 points (52.4 percent).
In the 6th grade, 349 students wrote with a lower educational standard in Slovene and 340 students in mathematics. In Slovene, students scored an average of 22.7 points of 50 points (45.4 percent), with maths on average 25.6 of 50 points (51.1 percent).
In the 9th grade, the NPZ was held at 492 elementary schools. The testing of knowledge from Slovene was attended by 19,911 students, who averaged 31 out of 55 points (56.4 percent). As of this school year, the NPZ’s achievements in the 9th grade of Slovene (Italian or Hungarian) and mathematics are considered as one of the criteria for enrollment in secondary school with a limit of enrollment.
67 pupils attended by national areas in Slovenian Istria and Prekmurje in Slovenian Istria and Prekmurje, and 19 students from Hungarian. The average achievement in Italian was 32.63 points out of 60 points (54.38 percent), and in Hungarian, 36.79 points out of 60 points (61.32 percent).
In mathematics, the test was written by 21,271 students who scored 26.4 points out of 50 points (52.9 percent).
In the third subject, 5277, German 125, biology 5381, geography 5141, and sports 5055 pupils participated in the examination in English.
In English, students scored 30.9 points out of 50 points (61.8 percent), 29.3 points out of 65 points (55.1 percent) in German, 16.3 points out of 35 points (46.6 percent) in biology, 22.3 points out of 50 points in geography and 25.3 points out of 46 points (55.02 percent).
NPZ with a lower educational standard was written by 294 students in Slovenian and mathematics, 282 students in science. In Slovene, they scored an average of 27.7 points out of 50 points (55.3 percent), 24.3 points out of 50 (48.5 percent) in mathematics and 23.6 points out of 50 points (47.2 percent) in science.
The National Examination Center provided students from 3rd, 6th and 9th grade and their parents access to electronically evaluated knowledge tests. For each student, additional information was prepared with graphic representations of achievements compared to peers at the school and at the national level, the National Examination Center wrote in a press release.
