Six people / day died when the helicopter slipped into the Hudon River in New York

The Fire Department announced that at 3:17 pm (22:17 Latvian time) he received a message of helicopter in water. There were six people in the aircraft who all died.

The video posted in the social media was shown overturned by the Helicopter « Bell 206 », which was mostly immersed in the water and circled the rescue boats around it.

The authorities stated that the fatalities were a helicopter pilot and a Spanish tourist family. Three of the victims were adults, but the other three were children.

It was later announced that the fatalities were Augustin Eskobar, his wife and three children, a subsidiary of the German electronics and electrical engineering company Siemens Mobility.

Two of the victims were initially taken to local hospitals, where they later died of injuries. Four victims were recognized as the dead at the scene.

In the New York district of Manhatan, several helicopter crashes with human sacrifices have occurred over the years. In 2009, nine people were killed in a collision between the aircraft and the tourist helicopter above the Hudon River. In 2018, as the Charter Race, as five people lost their lives, as the Helicopter slipped.
