We worked in the European Cup with colleague Dimitrijoski, both in motivation and in the field of analysis of opponents and the strategy of the fight, resulting in the first medals for Macedonia in the European Cup for this age group, says Mioki coach and coach of the cadet national team, Igor Paskoski,

Judo – European Pioneer and Junior Pioneers in Sarajevo

Macedonian Judo-Nakes have achieved huge success at the European Pioneer Cup (up to 15 years) and younger pioneers (up to 13 years), held this weekend in Sarajevo (BiH). The colors of Macedonia defended four competitors, and won three valuable medals. In the age group pioneers (up to 46 kg), Marko Dimitrijoski (Proleter) won the silver, and Emilija Paskoska (Mioki) bronze medal (up to 44 kg). In the age group of younger pioneers, Jenny Dimitrijoska (up to 44kg) won a bronze medal, and Viktor Stojanoski placed fifth, both are members of the proletarian.
– This was the first appearance of Macedonian Judaists at the European Pioneer Cup and he was more than successful. The two Emilija Paskoska and Marko Dimitrijoski medal won on the first day of the competition, only confirmed the potential and quality of our two participants, who proved to have the level of European judo for that age group. The second day of the competition was another medal, which was won by Jenny Dimitrijoska, and Viktor Stojanoski was fifth, with the Macedonian judo achieving great success. We worked in the European Cup with colleague Dimitrijoski, both in motivation and in the part of the analysis of opponents and the strategy of the fight, resulting in the first medals for Macedonia in the European Cup for this age group. We had great support from the legend of the Macedonian Judo, coach Slave Dimitrijoski, who watched the event from the stands. I am particularly happy for Emilia’s medal, because it is the first for her such a big competition, and won it in many dramatic fights, on the day of her birthday – said Mioki coach and coach of Macedonia’s cadet team, Igor Paskoski.
The European Cup in Sarajevo featured 258 Judaists and 124 Judas from 99 clubs from 17 countries.

– As a coach of the pioneering national team, I have been watching the work of Marko and Emilia for a long time, who have been intensively preparing for this match for several months. The success achieved was not accidental, and he was preceded by medals won in more control matches. What should follow is investing in their additional upgrading and investing in participation in activities of this nature. Jenny and Victor showed great fights, which resulted in another medal. With colleague Paskoski from the candidates for participation from the clubs Proleter and Mioki, each of our club, we chose exclusively the Judists who were ready to interfere with the medal fight and they justified the choice. Participation was realized at the expense of the two clubs, but the pride of the result remains to the greatest extent of the Judo Federation of Macedonia, which sincerely hopes to know how to value these medals, which are the first for Macedonia in such a strong match-Proleter and Proletter coach of Macedonia.
