Siljanovska – Davkova: EU blockade can be overcome by creative interpretation of the negotiating framework
The evaluation of the progress of the state should be meritocratic, with a focus on the fulfillment of the Copenhagen criteria, and the denial of national and cultural identity is contrary to European fundamental values and principles, and said Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska Davkovska Davkovska Davkovska.
At today’s meeting in Skopje, which, according to Siljanovska, is an indication of British interest and dedication in the Western Balkans, pointed out the destructiveness of bilateralization of the negotiation process under threat of veto.
Possible to overcome the blockade, as stated in a statement from the President’s Cabinet, Siljanovska Davkova is looking at the creative interpretation of the negotiating framework and the jurisdiction of the Joint Committee on Historically and Educated Affairs.
Special MP Karen Pierce has expressed an understanding of the need to overcome the Macedonian EU integration blockade.
The interlocutors have assessed British-Macedonian cooperation as successful, expressing readiness for its deepening and expansion. Both expect important benefits for the region from the upcoming Berlin Summit in London.
