Silent, diverse Baltic voice. Robert’s Fime Album The Silent Voice premieres in Gora / day
Robert himself says about the concert program: « I tried to show listeners to the great diversity of modern and postmodern music in the Baltic States. While studying at Juljard’s School in New York, I often collaborate with the Baltic composers abroad. Today, while living and working in Finland. Arvo Perth, Peter Wax, Eric Eschenwald or Broons, Kutavich, representing an imaginary and united style of music in the Baltic States or the main aesthetic direction.

Born in Florida, Robert, who was educated and grown up at the New York Juljard School, and Robert Fime, arrived in Latvia in 2021, where he studied a piano at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music. He is known as an innovative musical thinker and a dynamic interpreter in both the classic and contemporary repertoire. Has performed in 25 US states and 17 countries around the world and have a winner of several important international competitions, including John Cage Prize (2022), Rosalja de Castro Prize (2022) and Pro Music Recipient of the award (2021). In Latvia, he has won the festival’s Sansusis Music Battles Tournament, which competed for four weeks in wit, humor and musical virtuosity. Currently R. Fime is resident in Finland.
