A carefree weekend away for sick children, a special comeback party and the village that is best armed against the drought: these 5 regional stories gave color last weekend.
1. Families with seriously ill children forget their worries during free camping weekend: “Just relax and enjoy each other”
Five families with seriously ill children have a special weekend on it in Nieuwpoort. Camping organization Pasar invited them for a free weekend camping. Who those families are and how they experienced that weekend, they say here.

2. Colorful Pride travels through Brussels: « We are here to defend our rights »
Around 70,000 people traveled through the capital on Saturday during the Brussels Pride. « Today we not only want to show who we are, but also be very numerous to defend our acquired rights, » the participants could be heard. 3. Here, Dedecker has been walking every day since his operation: « People are putting up their thumb, heart -warming »

4. Sem (19) gives ‘Comeback party’ after he fought against leukemia twice: « way to leave all the trouble behind me »
With a party in Zillion style and Patje Krimson as DJ, 19-year-old Sem Vervoort put an end to a difficult period last weekend. Twice the young man from Peer fought against leukemia, meanwhile he is doing better. « I call this my comeback party, a party with which I want to leave all the trouble behind. » Read his story here.
