Shooting at school in Graz. At least 8 victims and many wounded

The attack took place on Tuesday, around 10, in one of the school buildings in Graz – a city located in the south -east of Austria. According to the Austrian portal Kronen Zeitung, the attacker entered the school and fired in two classrooms. Witnesses, including teachers, were to hear at least a few loud shots.
The services reacted quickly to the application. A special unit of the Austrian police – Cobra, was sent to the place, which began to secure the building and evacuate students and staff.
Victims and wounded among students and teachers
At least eight people died as a result of the attack. The exact number of victims is still determined. The Austrian state media ORF, citing local police information, inform about numerous seriously injured people – both among students and teachers. « Kronen Zeitung », citing his own findings, said that the number of seriously injured is double -digit.
All details about the identity of the victims are not yet known. The condition of several wounded is referred to as critical. The victims are transported to hospitals in the region.
The perpetrator of the shooting was to be a oppressed student
According to unofficial reports, the attacker is dead. Some sources say that he was shot by officers, others that he committed suicide. The police were to find a body while searching the school, most likely the perpetrator of the attack, in one of the school toilets.
There are many indications that he was a student of the same school in which the tragedy occurred. He was supposed to think that other students were abusing him. The police do not reveal his identity or official motives for now.
School authorities and services at this stage do not provide more information. Searching for the entire building is underway to exclude a possible threat and protecting evidence.
