She watched the houses, broke and stole. She finally fell
Policemen from Patrolówka received a notification about a woman who was to observe houses at the Przygawy estate. A few minutes after reporting, the officers noticed the described person. It turned out that she was a 31-year-old Ukrainian citizen who entered the home of the parents reporting the back entrance. The woman explained that she was looking for a job.
Theft in Kleosin
In January a similar event took place in Kleosin. A woman with a similar description entered the house of a 75-year-old resident, also under the pretext of looking for a job. Using the inattention of an old lady, she stole jewelry worth about PLN 50,000. Policemen quickly associated both events, which led to the suspect’s arrest.
Allegations and consequences
The 31-year-old was detained and was sent to police custody. She heard the accusation of theft, for which she was punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment. The police continue to investigate to determine if a woman is not involved in other similar crimes.
