She just waited for it to end, say the parents of a beaten girl. They want to prevent other cases

It was thanks to one of the incident records that everything came to light. The recording shows how other girls shove, kick their heads and pound her back. The boys around them encourage them, there are sentences like « she already has a panic attack, you see? » Or “Dick it! I really like it. ”

The mother of the attacked girl posted the video on social networks, the case resonates the whole municipality and is checked by the police.

Did you have any signals that your daughter is facing something similar?
Mother of the attacked (editors know the identity of parents, because of their daughter they did not wish to publish a name): We didn't know at all. I found out on Monday evening when my older daughter forwarded the video. When I saw him, I was horrified. I was sick. When I asked my daughters, all that had to experience that half a year was going on, she fell. I can't imagine what she had to live in.

Father: We don't know what happened there and why it was. But when three girls attack one and there is a public lynch and other children say things like « kick her », it exceeds all the limits.

Could it be a long -term matter?
Mother: Unfortunately we do not know.

Father: She goes to school in the next village all the time, but she goes out in Kobeřice and wants to talk to those children and have friends there, get their attention. I also understood that they were pushing her to say nothing. I got a video of spraying somewhere now. We will be able to report it to the municipality and repair it at our own expense. But this is a diametrically different thing from a physical attack.

What did you do after watching the video?
Mother: We got to know the girls who attacked her most. We went to those families that evening. We rang, introduced themselves, explained what we were coming up with, and showed it a video. The first one told us that the video was blurred, but his daughter confessed. The reason was that our daughter thought she was lying. The worst thing was that while the parents were in a large, absolute shock, it almost did nothing with the children. They looked, nor did it go with them.

Father: I was sorry for those parents. But we can't just look at the fact that at thirteen someone beats someone, humiliates. This can destroy the child's life all his life. Everyone must be responsible for their actions.

Mother: Some children will not be bullying and one day will not return. We couldn't leave it.

Video's publication launched a giant response

So how did you proceed?
Mother: In the evening I asked the head of the Kobeřice school, who told me that he would help us, but he warned us that it is primarily the responsibility of parents. I sent it to the mayor in the morning.

Father: Then I called him.

You published the video on social networks. Have you thought for a long time?
Mother: Yes. But we don't want it to fit, and the daughter agreed to help someone else. It has a huge response, something unbelievable has started. I receive news of local mothers whose children go through similar things. A lot of people send us the names of those they know in the video. Reportedly there is a gang in the park, drinking there, smoking there, in general it is known, but no one solves it. Now they're writing to us that someone has finally thrown a pitchfork into it.

Father: We cooperate with the police and we would like to draw attention to the problem of bullying so that something similar happens to other children.

What do you feel now?
Mother: Fear for daughter, maybe a little about our whole family. Also the uncertainty of how the daughter can do it mentally. The pressure of the children's society will be large. Now she doesn't even go to school, the headmaster of her school offered us help with a gradual return.

Did you follow a similar case from Hodonín?
Mother: I saw it several times with my daughter. She experienced it incredibly. Now we know why. Now that I asked her what she was doing during the attack, she replied that she was just waiting for it to end. That defending was unnecessary. She was incredibly relieved when she could say it all. Everyone looks at it from the viewer's point of view. But from a parent's point of view, when someone hurts your child, that's something completely different. It's my child. She held it for half a year.

How to prevent such things?
Father: I feel like we are helpless now as a company. The question is whether there is no time in connection with bullying to reduce the age of criminal liability. Prevention obviously does not work. We can't react until something happens. I would like to prevent it.

As?
Father: Of course, we would like to change the law so that children are more responsible for such behavior, but that is not in our power. We would like to use social networks. Instagram is the most common medium of this age group of children. Most of them do not know where to call the line of confidence, but with social networks. There should be a space where they can confide in, describe the situation, put photos. A lot of influencers and youtubers feed the influence they have on children. They could put it back in this way. If any of them wanted to help with their influence, we would like to use it in favor of the next victims.

Mother: When children know that there is such a possibility, and if such sharing helps one other child, it will make sense.
