Kumain Kana? The small question, at the same time the title of her exhibition, stands for Chelsea Amada for much more than what it actually means: Have you already eaten? « You are constantly asked, no matter where you go. But it is not necessarily about food, it is an expression of care, love, of hospitality that I strongly connect to the Filipino Community, » says Amada. He stands for the meal together that people connect for decades: for meals in the family, formerly for the food in the parish, for the picnic on the Danube Island every weekend, where you came together in big rounds.
Chelsea Amada was born in Vienna, she is an artist, cultural researcher and student at the applied in the photography class. She has the exhibition « Kumain Kana? » in the Vienna Museum curated-and: she is the daughter of Filipino.
