SES is expanding its network in Slovenia by purchasing the Arkadia Shopping Center
The leading Slovenian company in the field of large SES Spar European Shopping Centers is strengthening its position in the domestic market.
Last week, a contract for the purchase of the Arkadia Shopping Center in Domžale was signed. With the approval of the Competition Agency, the SES will take over a well -established regional location with 19 shops and recognized brands.
The seller of the property is the Generali Adriatic Value Fund I fund, managed by Generali Investments Slovenia. Arkadia, opened in 2016, covers 11,000 square meters of rental space. With the purchase, the SES portfolio is increasing to 32 international locations, including six large shopping destinations in Slovenia.

The transaction was legally advised by Cerha Hempel and Šelih & Partner, the technical inspection was carried out by Oterea, and financial and tax consulting was provided by Grant Thornton. The seller was represented by CBRE and Jandl Law law firm.
With this purchase, the SES portfolio in Slovenia is expanded to six large shopping destinations: Aleja Ljubljana, Citypark Ljubljana, Center Vič Ljubljana, Arkadia Domžale, Europark Maribor and Citycenter Celje.
