Serious accident with several trucks on E19: Road completely blocked (Antwerp)
Due to a serious accident with several trucks on the E19 towards Antwerp, near Loenhout, the road is completely blocked. All traffic has to leave the highway there and drive, reports the traffic center.
It is not clear how long the nuisance will drag on, but the traffic center recommends choosing the A12 from the Netherlands. Those who are already on the E19 have to leave the highway in Loenhout and then follow a diversion inside to the Brecht driveway.
In total, five vehicles were involved in the collision: four trucks and a passenger car. Only an injured person would have fallen in the passenger car, without there being a danger of life. However, the material damage is considerable, and certainly two trucks and the passenger car must be towed.
According to the traffic center, the handling is even more difficult due to a load loss of one of the trucks. It is a load of carrots that have partially ended up on the roadway.
