Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Hüseyin Çavuş drew attention to the importance of environmental sensitivity and acting for the common future in a message published on the occasion of June 5, World Environment Day. Çavuş said, “The environment shown to the environment is the expression of respect for ourselves and our children.” he said.

According to the statement made by the ministry, Minister Sergeant stated that every element that constitutes the environment is an integral part of the life chain and said, “June 5 is not only a calendar day, it is a call to increase our environmental awareness, question our attitude towards nature and reiterate the determination to take action for our common future.” He said.

Emphasizing that the protection of the environment is not only a matter of environmental policy, it requires a holistic approach from agriculture to water management, from planned use of natural resources to rural development.

“We are based on an approach that maintains ecological balance, supports production and progresses in harmony with nature.” Çavuş said that the resources offered by nature are not unlimited and that each source should be acted knowing that there is a limit and value.

Protecting the abundance of the land, using water without wasting and struggling with natural life -threatening elements, not only today, but also the responsibility of the future Minister Çavuş, « Come, let’s take on this responsibility together.
