Serbian students arrived in France with bicycles: they will be greeted by the Croatian MEP

On April 3, Serbian students left the new now in the direction of Strasbourg. After 11 days of trips and 1300 kilometers, they arrived in France, where many citizens welcomed them in the main square of the city.

Along with them was Italian pianist David Martelo. He was expelled from Serbia after playing at Nis Bridges in early April during a student blockade, Serbian writes N1.

Students will have meetings with European officials in Strasbourg, and among them will be Croatian MEP Gordan Bosanac.

– What began as a protest against one tragedy has grown into a mass movement that requires transparency, responsibility and democratic change – said Bosanac.

One of the students addressed the gathered in Strasbourg and said that it is’ important today to be human and fight for the right values.

– At this time, it doesn’t matter what nationality we are, where we come from. It is important if we are people – and this is very difficult today. I would also like to thank all the mothers who gave birth to these heroes, these people with whom I shared these 13 days. Together we shared tears of joy, sadness, happiness. The chains fell, we drove in the rain, through the wind – we went through everything together – said the student.
