In the Serbian Palace in the presence of President Aleksandar Vucic, a defense document between Serbia and Hungary was signed today – MIA correspondent in Belgrade reports.

Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan between Serbia and Hungary Ministries for 2025-Document for Operationalization of Strategic Cooperation in the Field of Defense between the two countries was signed by Serbian Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic and Hungarian Defense Minister Kristof Salai.
Key elements of the contract are the opportunity for joint exercises and military-technical cooperation in the procurement of weapons.

The signing was also attended by Serbian Army Chief General Milan Mojsilovic.

Vucic said after the meeting that Serbia has the most developed and most intense co -operation in the field of defense with Hungary in the region and expressed confidence that « the joint activity agreement will continue in further rapprochement and creation of a military alliance or military alliance between Serbia and Hungary ».

« Of course, the Hungarian side is wondering, the Hungarian and Serbian parliament and everyone else is asking, » Vucic said at a joint conference. He added that today a document has been signed that operationalizes and concretized the Strategic Cooperation Agreement in the field of defense reached in 2023.

The document signed today has agreed 79 activities for this year.
