Sensation victory for German team against England’s darts stars
Martin Schindler and Ricardo Pietreczko heard each other and the fans in Frankfurt no longer knew. The German Darts duo reached the quarter-finals at the World Team World Championship. They sensationally beat the top foothills from England with world champion Luke Littler and ex-champions Luke Humphries.
In the round of the best eight teams, the German duo will meet Damon Heta and Simon Whitlock from Australia this Sunday (2:15 p.m./DAZN).
Schindler brakes his team partner
« We believed in ourselves, » said Schindler. «Everyone expects to win from England. We were able to use the mentally as an advantage, »he emphasized.

Schindler and Pietreczko had previously celebrated victories against the teams from Singapore and Portugal. The new world champion team receives the equivalent of around 94,000 euros.
