Senecura says they remain in Slovenia, Maljevac: the elderly are not marketable goods
« If the allegations are held, the Senecur case reveals the risks of leaving the care of the older market, » said the Austrian company Senecura from the Slovenian Network of the Elderly and sold seven homes, which houses about 850 caregivers, responded to the reporting of a media portal, responded Simon Maljevac.
The company of Senecura’s Ministry of Solidarity did not inform the sale of homes for the elderly. The ministry immediately called on the concessionaire to clarify and demand clarifying the situation. In doing so, the minister also highlights the broader problem of the mass awarding of concessions in the past: “If the allegations are true, this case shows us a systemic risk that occurs when the state leaves social protection activities to the market. Many homes for which concessions have been awarded will never be built, and some concessions have already been convenient. This is extremely irresponsible to people, users and users who should support and protect the public system. «
Senecura responded to our questions: “In March we opened a new home in Pivka, which clearly confirms that Senecura remains firmly present in Slovenia.
