The Ukrainian President Selenskij visits the competitive city of Pokrowsk. Despite negotiations on the US proposal to the ceasefire, the air raids on both sides were recently reinforced.
The Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskij visited troops near the highly competitive and strategically important city of Pokrowsk. In online services, Selenskij shared a video of his visit on Saturday, without naming the exact time. The Russian armed forces are about six kilometers before the Pokrowsk, located in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk. Meanwhile, mutual air strikes were reported from both sides.
According to the regional governor Iwan Fedorow, a family of three died in a Russian drone attack in the South Ukrainian city of Saporischschja, including a young girl. In view of the talks provided for Monday, Kiev criticized the attack sharply.

On Monday, US negotiators in Saudi Arabia want to have separate conversations with delegations from Kiev and Moscow over a ceasefire in Ukraine. Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin recently rejected the US proposal supported by Ukraine for a 30-day ceasefire. Instead, he said he ordered the attacks on the energy infrastructure in Ukraine for a month. While the Kremlin explained that he had already implemented this, this is not the case from Kiev.
Russia reserves the right to counter attacks on Ukrainian energy systems
According to Russia, Russia also reserves the right to an equivalent answer to Ukrainian attacks on Russian energy systems. This is announced by the Foreign Ministry in Moscow. Ukraine accused provocations of Ukraine to disturb the progress of negotiations.
