« Today is a heavy day. I feel a deep longing in my chest to talk to you and tell you everything I do and what happens in my life, » she writes in the post.
Together with the words, Rubmer has shared private pictures with his father, himself and his daughter – a reminder of the family’s strong bond and love, despite the harsh consequences of the disease.
« But I know you wouldn’t want me to be sorry today, so I just want to try to be grateful. Grateful that I’m so lucky to have you as my dad, » she adds.
