Second Wave Operation for IMM: A request for arrest about 30 suspects – Cyprus Newspaper
While the corruption investigation into Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) deepened, a new development took place.
Following the arrest of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was dismissed from his post as the president of the IMM, was “to be a criminal organization”, “being a member of the criminal organization”, “rush”, “bribery”, “qualified fraud”, “to seize the personal data” and “to be awarded the unlawful.
52 people were detained in the second wave of the investigation of financial crimes against the IMM.
They were referred to the courthouse
Following the detention decision on the scope of the investigation, the operations of 52 suspects who were arrested in the operation held in Istanbul, Ankara and Tekirdağ on 26 April were completed.
After the health check, suspects were referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Caglayan.
Four suspects referred to the court were released on the condition of judicial control.
30 suspects request for arrest
18 of the 48 suspects who were completed in the prosecutor’s office demanded that 18 of them were released on condition of judicial control, and 30 people were sent to the court on duty demanding arrest.
