Sebastian Mattczak will be released to Poland? The ZAA Supreme Court issued a decision
On Wednesday, May 7, the Supreme Court of the United Arab Emirates recognized the appeal of Sebastian Mattczak against the decision of the Court of First Instance, which in January stated « unlawfully legal admissibility extradition of Sebastian Majtczak to Poland« .

Radosław Sikorski, the head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, informed about the court’s decision in the ZAA. By the way, he congratulated the Minister of Justice, Adam Bodnar, that he led to the issued decision on extradition of Sebastian Majtczak.
In the accident on the A1 motorway, a family of three died
A tragic accident occurred in mid -September 2023 on the A1 motorway in Sierosław near Piotrków Trybunalski (Łódź Voivodeship). Then a passenger Kia burned there, which was traveled by a family of three – marriage and their five -year -old son. After listening to witnesses, securing traces and analysis of recordings from cameras, the investigator determined that the accident occurred as a result of the collision of KII with the BMW speeding at a dizzying speed, which the driver escaped from the tragedy. However, the man was not stopped immediately. Sebastian Mattczak accused of causing this accident, he managed to escape to Dubai, where he is until now.
A letter was issued behind Sebastian Mattczak, and was also wanted on the basis of the red note of Interpol. After he was detained by the Dubai police, supported by the Polish Special Search Group, Majtczak was arrested in the ZAA, but he was released. The Polish prosecutor’s office is applying for a man’s extradition.
